Are you passionate about building strong brands that make a real difference? Skanska Group HQ is now looking for an experienced Brand Strategist to join our Group Communications team during a parental leave period. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in shaping the global Skanska brand and driving insight-led strategies across international markets.
About the Role
As Brand Strategist, you will be part of the Group Communications team at Skanska Group HQ in Stockholm. You'll be responsible for transforming insights and data into clear strategic direction and impactful brand activations - all while working closely with our Business Units around the world.
In this role, you will:
- Lead our global brand tracking program and extract actionable insights to support both Group and Business Unit efforts
- Develop KPIs and measurement frameworks for brand activation
- Build and maintain a customer insights network for knowledge-sharing across markets
- Translate our brand positioning strategy into compelling value propositions
- Own and manage the brand activation plan aligned with the channel strategy
- Write creative briefs and manage activation projects from concept to execution
- Develop tools, templates, and frameworks to support brand implementation across the business
- Contribute relevant insights and data to broader strategic communications projects
- Inspire internal stakeholders with trends and thought leadership
Who You Are
We're looking for someone with a strong strategic background in brand and communications, who is:
- Insight-driven and analytical, with the ability to turn data into actionable strategies
- Organized and structured, with excellent project management skills
- A clear communicator who can engage stakeholders at all levels
- Experienced in leading strategic projects and creative processes
- Passionate about branding and purposeful communications
- Comfortable steering creative execution in line with brand positioning
- A team player with a proactive mindset and a collaborative, can-do attitude
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Communications, Marketing, or a related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a strategic brand role (agency or consultancy experience is a plus)
- Experience working with both qualitative and quantitative research
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Global experience is a strong advantage
