Introduction
We are seeking a Product Manager to join our team within Valves & Hoses Product Group. In this highly entrepreneurial role, with a wide variety of responsibilities and accountability, you will be the link between engineering and the market. You will be responsible for continuing to grow our business of Valves, which involves working with sales, product competitiveness, and customer experience. Your role plays a crucial part in contributing to our growth strategy. In this position, you will report to the Director of the Valves & Hoses Product Group.
This is a global position with possible locations in Espoo or Lappeenranta, Finland; Malmö, Sala, or Skellefteå, Sweden; and Sydney, Australia. While the preferred location is Sala, Sweden. We offer flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.

What you'll do
In this position, you will be a co-operative team player and an individually contributor.
- Ensure leadership in product and technology, focusing on continuous improvement, new developments, and long-term innovation with an entrepreneurial approach.
- Develop long-term plans for products to implement portfolio strategies and R&D roadmaps, aligning with sustainability and digitalization goals.
- Actively monitor product performance, enhance customer value, reduce costs, and position products effectively in the market.
- Create and maintain product materials, including trainings, presentations, technical papers, and marketing content.
- Provide technical expertise for complex troubleshooting and support sales and delivery functions.
- Set and oversee the tools needed for successful product marketing.
- Implement best practices in design, sourcing, service optimization, marketing, and competitor analysis.
- Align and engage with various functions and stakeholders to ensure organizational success.
Who you are
- Applicable B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree and/or Technical or Business degree.
- Proven track record of professional accomplishments and reliability.
- Customer-oriented with the necessary engineering skills to gather input and consolidate results.
- Self-motivated and highly driven to deliver.
- Good communicator with strong collaboration and influencing skills.
- Familiarity and willingness to work in a large, complex organization with a broad stakeholder base.
- As a collaborative leader, you navigate different stakeholders with ease, collaborating across diverse cultures and environments.
- Experience with the valves product range and related services, especially in the mining industry, is an asset.
