Your opportunity:

Are you passionate about unravelling complex data puzzles and transforming raw information into actionable insights? We're on the lookout for a brilliant mind to join our dynamic Data and Analytics team!

As a Data Scientist, you'll be at the forefront of our data-driven initiatives, shaping the way we leverage information to drive impactful decisions. Your role will involve diving deep into diverse datasets, using cutting-edge analytics tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights that fuel our innovation engine. From predictive modeling to optimizing algorithms, your expertise will drive us toward new heights of success.

It is preferred for the successful candidate to be located around the Skellefteå area close to the Boliden office, though other Swedish locations may be considered including Stockholm, Landskrona, Skelleftehamn (Rönnskär), Gällivare (Aitik) and Garpenberg."

Who you will work with:

You will be part of the D&A team, working with stakeholders across the organization, solving complex challenges.

What you will do:

Dive into complex data sets to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities

• Create machine vision solutions
• Assist in setting up ML Ops pipelines and strategies
• Develop and deploy machine learning models to enhance decision-making
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive data-driven solutions
• Create visually compelling and insightful reports for stakeholders
• Continuously innovate and explore new methodologies to elevate our analytics capabilities

What you bring:

Strong proficiency in data analysis tools (for e.g. Python, R, etc.) and SQL

• Experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics
• A knack for storytelling through data visualization
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for exploring new technologies
• A deep need to make everything more efficient
