What you'll do
As Media Performance Manager at Telenor, you will take ownership of our performance media agenda, leading strategic initiatives from planning through execution and optimization. This is a senior role for someone who combines strategic thinking with strong project management skills and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
You will be responsible for developing our performance media strategy, managing media investments, and ensuring campaigns deliver measurable business results. Working closely with internal stakeholders, agencies, and external partners, you will lead projects, coordinate multiple workstreams, and drive continuous improvements across our digital marketing efforts.
Your responsibilities
- Lead and develop Telenor's performance media strategy and activation roadmap.
- Manage cross-functional projects from planning to execution, ensuring alignment, delivery, and measurable impact.
- Own the performance media budget, KPI framework, and campaign optimization.
- Collaborate closely with media, brand, sales, analytics, and agency partners to deliver integrated campaigns.
- Identify new opportunities, trends, and technologies that strengthen Telenor's media capabilities and business performance.
Who you are
You are a senior performance digital marketing professional with a proven track record of leading complex initiatives and driving business results. You have excellent project management skills, are confident coordinating multiple stakeholders, and know how to turn strategy into execution.
You genuinely enjoy working with data and numbers and have a natural curiosity for uncovering insights that drive smarter decisions. You combine a strong analytical mindset with commercial acumen, using data to optimize performance, challenge assumptions, and identify new opportunities.
You are structured, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Just as importantly, you are a collaborative leader who builds trust, influences others, and enjoys working across teams.
Key qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, including ownership of strategic media initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders and external agencies.
- Strong expertise in performance marketing, media planning, campaign optimization, and measurement.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience translating data into business decisions.
- Experience managing media budgets and KPI frameworks.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
